Responsibilities: •Evaluation of Waikato DHB s after-hours initiative. From 2008, Waikato DHB has funded after-hours services throughout the Waikato district to reduce the work burden on the rural General Practitioners (GPs). The purpose of this contract was to analyze the effectiveness of this initiative. The methods used to evaluate the process are primary and secondary research, a survey of rural sub hub GPs (Survey was conducted to capture the experience of the rural GPs of the telephone nurse triage service. The purpose of the survey was to strengthen the evaluation process, the brief survey data was used to analyze the soft benefits of the intervention program), financial analysis and management recommendations. •Staff Engagement Survey. The District Health Board is part of the Ministry of Health. New Zealand Ministry of Health will gives set of objectives to District Health Boards and each DHB has right to choose its own approach to achieve these goals. During 2011, Waikato DHB was considering a major change process within their Mental Health Department in order to increase the efficiency and to better meet these objectives. The purpose of this contract job was to analyze the correlations between last year’s survey and a repeat survey that has been completed, thus by doing this one can better understand staff attitudes relating to the proposed changes.
