Manju is a leader that really made a difference in my teaching practice. As a Head of Primary Years Programme, she constantly provided opportunities for us to learn about best practices in education. She challenged us to think outside the box and to really focus on the needs and welfare of the students. She nurtured our understanding on inquiry based learning, teaching and leading with empathy, and in creating a school environment where student agency and expression was part of its culture. All the students in our school also loved her as well. She acted as a mentor to the people she has worked with as she was generous with her time and energy in supporting staff members in their professional growth.
