Owner of the Submarine Delivery Agency Rolls Royce Joint Strategy implementation. Developed the reporting, management process and governance for the joint strategy’s 7 work streams which spanned over several domains and business areas ensuring the uniform monitoring and management of the strategy. Chaired the quarterly joint steering committee to provide summary reporting to the 2* project sponsor and Chief Commercial Officer of Rolls Royce Submarines. Worked closely with the 7 stream leads to further understand nature of the works and deliverables to inform stakeholders with dependencies of status updates on any relevant outputs. Liaised with the MOD Strategic Partnering Manager for Rolls Royce to develop joint metrics to measure the quality of the relationship with the supplier and find areas of improvement. Served as the team point of contact for all issues relating to the Tier 1 Supplier Rolls Royce as part of the development of a Key Supplier Manager Role in the team. Worked with colleagues across the SDA to build a picture of issues and any deviations from official reporting on joint initiatives, ensuring our position as an intelligent customer in negotiations with the supplier for future work and endeavours. Regularly travelled to Derby Headquarters to work closely with the supplier on preliminary discussions centred around current scope of work and future opportunities for increased collaboration.
