Mané is fantastic, simply fantastic. He has inspired me and given me a sense of belief in my website. I had a brilliant 1 hour session with Mané, he's clearly an expert in his field. Brilliant advice, it was such good value as he gave me so many points to improve my site. I felt so positive about our session that I am booking a follow up session with Mané once I have implemented his advice. Thank you Mané!

It has been a great pleasure working with Mané. He was a highly valued member of our design team, who has contributed greatly to the increase of our quality standards. Mané has proven that his technical mind and creative solutions are a fantastic addition to the team. Outside of work, Mané is an extremely friendly guy, and given the opportunity, I would happily work alongside him again.

Mané Branco Design Ltd is my personal design company through which I undertake contract and freelance work. With a specialization in Product, UX, UI, Apps, SAAS, Brand, and Identity design, I have had the privilege of collaborating with renowned global brands and esteemed institutions such as the NHS in both the UK and USA, UK Councils, Earthster, Watchfinder, and more. From zero to 100, the process usually consists of project kickoff with the client to define the problem and the needs, market research, understanding the personas, information architecture, user journeys, wireframes, visual designs, prototyping, development (teams with whom I like to work very closely), testing and launching, and when possible also iterations and maintenance. www.manebranco.co.uk and .com Show less

I have had the privilege of working with Dr. Raquel Skin and Medical Cosmetics, a medical face aesthetics clinic, where I was responsible for creating the brand design and and develop the entire web presence for the clinic. Being involved with the clinic from its inception provided me with a deep understanding of the brand vision. This allowed me to curate workshops and focus groups, enabling me to gain valuable insights into the desires and expectations of potential clients. This knowledge guided the design process, ensuring the best possible strategies to convert visitors into loyal clients of the clinic. Throughout this journey, the online platform underwent successful iterations in terms of UX/UI design. These improvements were based on data analysis, regular user testing and invaluable feedback from clients. By continuously refining and optimising the platform, we were able to enhance the overall user experience and meet the evolving needs of the target audience. Since 2020, the clinic's website has consistently secured the top position in Google search results within its competitive geographical area. This outstanding achievement demonstrates the effectiveness of our SEO efforts and the website's visibility. Furthermore, the current conversion rate is a testament to the website's ability to attract and engage potential clients, with a remarkable 87% of new clients coming through the website. Over the years, I have also created various collateral pieces to support client retention, business promotion, marketing efforts, social media presence, and presentations. These materials have consistently received high praise from both the clinic's clients and industry peers, further solidifying the brand's reputation for excellence. It has been a rewarding experience working alongside Dr. Raquel Skin and Medical Cosmetics, contributing to their success by delivering exceptional design solutions across multiple touch points. www.skinandmedicalcosmetics.co.uk Show less

UX/UI and development management of new e-commerce platform for Crysallis Skin Collaborating with Frankie Atherstone, we successfully developed a new e-shop to complement her existing business, Crysallis Skin Clinic. This new platform was designed to replace a specific section of the clinic's website. To ensure optimal user experience (UX), I conducted comprehensive research on competitors and similar online platforms. Additionally, we organised workshops involving a select group of Frankie's clients, enabling us to gain insights into the main user base. Armed with this understanding, we crafted a bespoke experience that deeply resonated with users, leading to an impressive conversion rate. A notable aspect of our process was my close collaboration with the client, the developer's team and an SEO expert. This collaborative effort allowed to not only save valuable time on potential iterations but also ensured that the platform was designed to be easily promoted through various channels and optimised for top rankings on Google searches. By incorporating UX and UI design considerations from the outset, a solid foundation was laid for an efficient and successful e-shop. Show less

Working for Watchfinder&Co. was an incredibly privileged opportunity that provided me with invaluable learning experiences. Initially joining as a graphic designer in a team of 30 individuals, I quickly took on the responsibility of overseeing the UX and UI aspects of the website. The website served as the company's primary selling point and required a streamlined backend to accommodate its rapid growth as a global leader in the used luxury watch market. During my time at Watchfinder&Co., I discovered my passion for understanding user behaviour and designing online experiences that guided them towards becoming paying customers. It was crucial for me to strike a balance between creating conversion-driven experiences while ensuring a pleasant journey for users that left them feeling accomplished. Halfway through my tenure, I successfully conveyed to the board the significance of strong UX and UI design. As a result, I was given the opportunity to establish the existing UX/UI team, with a developer I had already formed a strong working relationship with over the course of two years. This allowed me to further refine my skills in UX and UI design, implement processes such a regular schedule of user testing sessions, create a new and highly profitable version of the website that remains in use today, and develop my management skills, which proved invaluable for my subsequent roles. I take immense pride in having contributed to the growth of Watchfinder&Co. The company grew into a formidable team of 310 individuals by the time of my departure and eventually gained recognition through its acquisition by Richmond for a significant value, solidifying its position as a global leader in the industry. I am grateful for the experiences and accomplishments I had during my time at Watchfinder&Co., as they continue to shape my professional journey and fuel my passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
