      I joined ICES as a Business Development Manager just as the Traffic Management Act 2004 went live in 2008. In this role I was particularly proud to lead the development of our relationship with Bournemouth Council with the introduction of an Approved Device (a mobile camera) to facilitate safe enforcement outside of school gates and bus stops.In March 2010 I was promoted to Sales Team Manager which expanded my role to cover the following areas:• Key Account Management – I have prime sales responsibility for several of ICES key accounts incorporating nine London Boroughs including The Corporation of the City of London, Plymouth City Council and NCP. I maintain and develop relationships across all levels with these clients to ensure we are delivering an excellent service to them.• Sales Team Manager – I provide guidance and management support to our senior sales people including liaising with delivery departments to represent client needs and priorities.• Bid management – our private sector work and some public sector additional work involves bids. I review bid opportunities with the sale team and allocate resource from within the team and elsewhere to ensure we submit the best response.• Tender management – our public sector work comes predominantly through tenders. I keep an eye on what tenders are due to be issued and ensure we respond fully.• Trainer management – our trainers also help with pre-sales demonstrations and bid/tender support. They are incredibly experienced in our products and also in how clients are using them.• Lead Generation – I enjoy attending exhibitions including Parkex, Parking World, BPA events, and overseeing other campaigns.It’s very rewarding to be part of a market-leading team in traffic management, at the cutting edge of developments such as Permits as a Service, Intelligence Led Enforcement, mobile devices and an excellent penalty payment processing service that receives praise from infringers.
