Igloo is a full stack insurtech startup which expands rapidly in the SEA region since its incorporation. It leverages big data, real-time risk assessment and end-to-end automated claims management to create innovative B2B2C insurance solutions for platform partners and insurers. Its insurance solutions enable companies to eliminate their exposure to operational risk, create new revenue streams and optimise and enhance existing products. Igloo raised its Series B+ in 2022 and operates in the main SEA countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines and Malaysia. • Report to the CFO on all aspects of finances within Southeast Asia • Took over from the Head of Finance as a 1-2 persons’ team when Series B was completed, build, guide and lead a regional team of 3 finance managers and 7 accountants/ executives remotely to achieve various goals during the company’s fast expansion from Series B to Series B+ • As a strong finance business partner to the regional commercial teams, lead the regional finance processes and establish the business models and transactions flows in different markets • Oversee the finance and accounting functions regionally, ensure completeness and accuracy of the monthly management reporting • Perform and review the group consolidation and analysis for the management and investors • Work closely with the business intelligence team to ensure timely and accurate reporting • Manage the group’s cash flows and working capital • Owner of the group’s audit and tax compliances, strong in Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines taxes, and good in other countries’ taxes (Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam) • Oversee all corporate secretarial matters regionally • Improve and streamline end-to-end and cross functional workflows and internal controls • Support the CFO in investors’ financial and tax due diligence in Series B+ funding • Support the CFO on strategic reporting and board of director deliverables Show less
