      As an AmeriCorps Fellow, Amanda worked for the East Central Illinois Area Agency on Aging to compile and analyze data for the Maturing of Illinois Report. This report was presented to the Governor’s office for vetting and is now a public document. She also began a report for the Agency focused on showing the value of the programs supported both in terms of an economic contribution as well as a way to build social capital in the community. Current Fellows are completing this multi-year study utilizing both primary and secondary data, completing both surveys and interviews and incorporating efficiency standards in response to governmental focus on Budgeting for Results.
