Shepherding writers through the developmental stage of their first draft and helping them discover the tools for world-building and character development is what I love to do. "Mandy is the best writing coach I have ever had the pleasure of working with! I’ve been working on my memoir for more than ten years now. Over that time, I’ve studied the art of writing with several different coaches and classes. Two of the things that make Mandy different is her positive attitude and encouragement. I never leave feeling overwhelmed or stupid. In fact, I leave her coaching sessions with a clear idea of what I must do to make my book better. Being an author herself, Mandy gets her points across in a way that other writers can easily understand. I feel confident Mandy is the key to getting my story down on paper in a way others will want to read it. After ten long years, that says a lot!" Susan Hartzler

At Cricket Publishing, we pride ourselves on taking our readers on memorable journeys, whether they be thought-provoking treks to worlds of dark fantasy, or personal sojourns with meaningful, lasting impact. It is our hope that our stories will linger in our readers’ memories long after the last words of the final page have been read, leaving one to ponder characters and remember locations.Cricket believes that great works require work and that the dream of holding one’s very own published book should become a reality for every committed, talented writer.

From the About Us section of the New York Journal of Books website: "New York Journal of Books Reviewer Panel consists of a growing team of talented and experienced reviewers with expertise and credentials that are unique among exclusively online book reviews. This panel includes bestselling and award-winning authors, journalists, experienced publishing executives, tenured academics, as well as highly experienced professionals across a number of disciplines and industries. All bring highly relevant expertise and insight to their reviews. Each reviewer writes about books with a singular, unique voice. Together, this chorus is New York Journal of Books’ special strength. NYJB’s catalog of reviews has far more in common with respected print reviews than with any other online-only review. In a world where print book reviews are in rapid decline, NYJB aims to preserve the tradition of excellence in book critique."

I opened Creative Minds Integrated Learning Inc. when I saw the need for a place where elementary aged children who were either homeschooled, or working through an Independent Study Program, could come together to study core subjects and elective programs. Following the California Education Standards, I modified and built curriculums specifically with each individual child's particular learning style and needs in mind. This was mostly done through project based learning.
