  Geology graduate based at the Witbank Coalfields.2014 - Greenside Colliery, underground export coal mining in which the geology department is responsible for weekly grade control requiring weekly underground visits to all section faces and correspondence with the wash plant prior to compiling a weekly geology marketing report comprising of yields and CV at which the coal is washed at.Purely continous mining extraction.2015 - New Denmark Colliery, Eskom supplier situated in the Standerton area of Mpumalanga. Underground longwall coal mining in which the geology department is responsible for section measurements and operation of the on-site lab.Challenging and arduous mining conditions with low seam heights and exponential geological features constantly encountered.Geophysics plays a crucial role in the geology department as a means of modelling the conditions.2016 - New Vaal Colliery, Eskom supplier situated in the Vaal area, northern Free State. Main responsibilities involve seam mining advise to production and coal quality monitoring or grade controlling. Field Logging - Surface vertical drilling at both operations is the responsibility of the geology department with the aid of contractors entrusted with operating drill rigs.Underground directional drilling at Greenside Colliery.Surface and Underground directional drilling at New Denmark Colliery.
