  In 2012, I started writing, illustrating and publishing my own children’s books, Adventures of Lucy and Bryan: Kind of Wild Island and Lucy and the Whale: Inspiring Adventures by Mahieu Spaid. I have also guest written and published in Korean Quarterly, www.koreanquarterly.com, for local event coverage and poetry. Features include radio interview with Karen J at 93.1 FM on my children’s books. My characters have their own brand and online store that I created at ThinkCutie.com.I also Partner with Egan Publications Inc. and became part share holder. As a team member for a professional speaker - I consult on business decisions for marketing, speaking events, book campaigns, and budgeting. I am also involved in events, graphic design, social media footprint, lead generation, business consulting, website design, and email campaigns.

  November 2009 to December 2012 (CenturyLink) and September 2008 to October 2009 (Best Buy HQ)Previously, I worked for a competitor and helped with their mail and meeting services at a downtown Minneapolis site. In November of 2009, I was promoted to site lead at the Best Buy Headquarters to my own site in Downtown Minneapolis at CenturyLink. As a team lead, I assisted the manager with daily operations and helped generate weekly and monthly reports. Daily operations included incoming/outgoing mail, sorting, packages, scheduling, and team communications with the client to our management team.At Best Buy Headquarters, I was the lead support for imaging of Tax records from all Best Buy stores. I helped oversee document preparation, scanning, and quality assurance of all records. I was also responsible for team communications, meetings, and study of team efficiency and accuracy.
