Dr. Amit K. Verma
I know Mandeep since last 9 years. We started working together in BITS Pilani in 2011. We started working on three point BVPs. He assisted me and learnt monotone iterative technique and he extended the theory which was available on two point BVP to three point BVPs. First he established results for regular cases three point BVPs then he extended it for singular three point BVPs, which involved properties of Bessel functions. We also worked on Numerical solutions of two point BVPs and he wrote some nice papers, which are now getting good citations. Finally in his PhD he discussed Monotone Iterative Technique on Difference equations. We still working together recently we have written one paper on Haar Wavelets with an application on a class of Singular BVPs and another work he wrote a nice paper on Monotone Iterative Technique for a class of BVPs arising in Diffusion. Mandeep has just been a friend of mine. We spent countless hours in my house and department. Along with research Mandeep has good teaching skills and Mandeep has been a very honest, caring and diligent and trust worthy person. I wish him best wishes and good luck.
