Responsible to architect a solution to cater on-demand storage needs for multiple product lines of sungard. Major Tasks are Requirement gathering, Stakeholder management, Vendor engagement and solutioning, POCs, Solutioning and implementation, Mentoring and support, Documentation etc. Build the STaaS solution to cater on-demand storage needs for Sungard customers. Storage as a Service (STaaS) is a vendor agnostic multi-tenant shared storage solution with tiered performance and data services capabilities. Develop the vendor agnostic architecture of Storage services and integrate the advanced capabilities of data management e.g: Data encryption, Data replication, Block and File provisioning, Quality of Service (QoS), Dedup/compression etc. Worked on shim layer orchestration using Storage vendor APIs for effective operations and minimal manual intervention. Developed integrated dev-ops solution for on-demand automated lifecycle activities of storage infrastructure (in STaaS) Technology Stack used in Storage Virtualization are HDS and Netapp storage controllers, Python with Django framework to write the Storage APIs for Day 1 and Day2 operations.
