Jason Yamamoto
Mana is a natural-born leader. Those who work with her, including myself, find ourselves impressed with not only her plans but also trust her in the completion of the project. Mana is passionate and diligent in everything she does. I had the opportunity to work with Mana as my Vice President of Activites for the Hawaiian Chapter, one of the largest chapters (club) at BYU-Hawaiʻi. With a well-diversified group of club members from over 10 different countries, Mana makes sure to include each member and help them to understand and appreciate the Hawaiian culture as much as she does. In regard to our largest project as of the past term (Spring 2021), Mana developed and implemented an activity which taught the club’s members of Hawaiʻi’s rich taste of food. With a limited budget, she was able to provide enough food for the club members and for the Headmaster of BYU-Hawaiʻi and his family. She is caring, bold, spiritual, and aware of her leadership positions and those around her. Mana’s work and leadership ethic is clear to recognize for all those she is involved with. She will succeed in any role or position she is given. Please direct any questions or further comments to my e-mail or number below. Jason K.
