Responsibilities • Providing end to end L1 support for all the Linux related tasks and implementations • Strong Knowledge and experience in User, Group and LVM administration • Having decent knowledge and experience in SSH, VSFTPD, DNS, SFTP, HTTP services • Managing the entire Data Center for the complete I&D environment • Implementation of Application related tasks in the OS level as recommended • Providing the best approaches for the Delivery teams and resolving their issues if any. • Good experience in system administration tasks like crontab, setgroupid, setfacl, iptables etc • Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service • Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments • Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers • Collaborate with other teams and team members to deliver the systems with configurations as prescribed by the defined timelines • Working with support team to identify and work on problems • Analyzing error logs and fixing them together with support team • Know how to manage systems and set them up Show less
