Prior to moving into the transfusion department, was responsible for shift operation in the main lab including departments: clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation studies, molecular diagnostics, and urinalysis. In addition, also managed the specimen processing area which utilized a hardware consisting of a highly automated process line facilitated by laboratory assistants and multiple software/ middle ware. The installation, validation, and training of this laboratory automation system was organized and performed by me and my 17 laboratory assistants.
