As a one-the-side hobby, I enjoy making all types of jewelry. I rarely make the same thing twice, so most pieces are one of a kind. Please check out my Etsy site and look around. Feedback is always welcome. Thanks! As a one-the-side hobby, I enjoy making all types of jewelry. I rarely make the same thing twice, so most pieces are one of a kind. I help support the Campaigns department with a myriad of tasks. I am responsible for booking travel for the VP of Outreach and Engagement as well as any guests we have from time to time. I help onboard interns and assist with educational experiences we provide for them, book arrangements for conferences we have a presence at, and assist with the implementation of Humane Law Enforcement Trainings. Day to day tasks also include ordering materials, fielding emails and calls, shipping, and setting up meetings and recording minutes. Show less

      • Nov 2009 - Dec 2011

The Wildlife Care Center put me up close with many different species of wildlife- from shorebirds, to small mammals such as raccoons and opossums, to newborn fawns. Aside from daily cleaning and feeding, I had the experience of answering the hotline and responding to crisis situations, as well as the opportunity to educated concerned callers. I became comfortable tube feeding, administering medication, and tracking the health of all animals that came through the door. My most memorable experience with HWCC was rescuing a grey fox that I saw on the side of the road that had been hit by a car. Volunteering there was truly rewarding and very educational. Show less

I had the wonderful opportunity of volunteering at Save Our Seabirds shortly after I concluded two research internships at Mote Marine Aquarium. I prepared meals for the birds, administered oral medication, and cleaned the enclosures daily. I also gained experience handling injured birds for medical exams and aided in captures and releases.
