    • Healthy Families Coordinator
      • 2013 - 2015

I worked with supervisors/therapists to coordinate children and their family’s physical health needs. I managed the children and their families, including greeting them in the office and responding to telephone and in-person requests for information. I worked at helping families with insurance issues, scheduling doctors’ appointments, finding a different doctor if they’re unhappy with their current doctor, and am notified by all the state hospitals if any of our children go to an Emergency Room. I worked on creating excel spreadsheets and weekly presentations on PowerPoint for the grant that the project was under. I designed electronic file systems and maintained electronic and paper files. I would do 3 “health” groups a month in the Bremerton School District in the behavioral classroom to help students understand the importance of both their mental and physical health. I would plan and coordinate “Dental Week” for all Child and Family children with free dental care for a week from licensed dentists coming to our facility and offering free dental care. I served as central point of contact for all outside vendors needing to gain information on the program or data for the grant. I weekly organized files, developed spreadsheets, faxed reports and scanned documents. Show less
