Manage the Production Area and insure that products are being delivered with the proper quality and time frame to the customer. Maintain a good working relationship with vendors to obtain quotes and follow up on orders in process. Make telemarketing calls to generate new business. Maintain and update lists of prospective customers and referrals. Create and implement an effective marketing strategies within the store.   The University of Texas Pan-American was chosen to be part of a NASCAR program that would have 5 students of each University work on case studies, along with a semester long project. I was one of 5 members to be chosen in this team! We conducted weekly case studies from how to make the NASCAR website more enticing for fans to why people in our community watch or don't watch NASCAR. We would present our finding and ideas each week. At the end of the semester depending on the quality of our case studies and the success in our long project we would be chosen as the winners. Long project was to make a viewing party where we would invite the community to come and watch a NASCAR race! Although everyone had hands in in just about everything for the viewing party I was solely responsible of sponsorship so we can pay for location, stage, food, entertainment etc. We where successful and where able to WIN the contest against several other schools like Baylor University and we where invited to attend NASCAR headquarters along with a NASCAR race.
