  Offender Aid and Restoration of Richmond's (OAR) program is for persons who have been incarcerated in jail or state prison. As a OAR case manager I meet with individuals to determine the level of services thats needed to help client make a smooth transition back into society. The services (depending on funding) may include individual counseling, AA/NA, parenting education,literacy/education tutoring, drug/alcohol treatment referrals,shelter, clothing and food referrals, job readiness/employment assistance, mentoring and more. Other services provided (depending on funding) may include personal hygiene kits, resume assistance, use of fax machine and copier for resumes, weekly jobs list, substance abuse counseling and support groups, problem solving/goal setting assistance, money management counseling and more. We serve individuals 18 years of age and older, who have been incarcerated in a jail or released from a state prison to OAR's service area. Show less
