  I've joined Perkins+Will from Bergmann Associates and previously Gantt Huberman Architects, the Charlotte-based firm which merged with Bergmann five years ago. My responsibilities included working closely with the trailblazing architect and civic leader Harvey Gantt, cofounder of Gantt Huberman and former Charlotte Mayor, to help influence many of the region’s most significant and memorable public places. Joining Perkins+Will is a natural next career step and an exciting opportunity for me. One of the appealing qualities of the firm is the skill of its teams to understand the cultural story of each client and the related design opportunity. This thinking takes architecture to a new level of research, discovery, and local/national engagement. I look forward to the exciting and collaborative opportunities ahead in this next chapter!
