Mal is a very experienced and competent project manager, very adept at establishing productive stakeholder relationships and working collaboratively to deliver high quality outcomes. Mal is able to turn her expertise to many different areas - for the Lung Learning Project at LFA Mal delivered a web-based solution (the Lung Learning Hub) and coordinated the development of a branding and marketing strategy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mal for any project or program management role.

Malathi is a much valued member of my leadership team and highly respected for your strategic approach to program development. Her skills in stakeholder management and program design are very much appreciated. The impact of her primary project The National Framework for Lung Training and Development in Primary Health Care is one of the largest and most complex programs ever delivered by the Lung Foundation and Mal's leadership of such has been exemplary.

DFAT-funded in-country/remote assignment. Started this assignment remotely and was then offered to travel to Arusha, Tanzania, and work with the team on-site for 2months. The initial assignment was to assist CC12 with a product development strategy, thereafter my role in-country was to establish their three-year strategic plan. Comfy care12 is a women-led social enterprise that started its operations in 2018. Comfy Care is dedicated to improving menstrual health and hygiene (MHH) for women and girls, especially school girls in Tanzania. Comfy Care supplies reusable pads and empowers young girls through training in Menstrual Health and Hygiene management. Show less

CEO of RAILS an independent not-for-profit organisation that provides free legal advice and community education to disadvantaged people. This role provided me with the opportunity to strengthen my skills in people management, governance, finance, stakeholder management, advocacy, strategic planning, and building on the existing reputation of a 40year old NGO. I stepped into this role just as the restrictions were enforced due to COVID. RAILS is a service provider and so there were extensive Business Continuity strategies that were applied to support our clients who found themselves in unbelievably difficult legal battles. Under my leadership, RAILS secured more funds from the State government, developed a strong fund-raising strategy, organisation restructure to allow for internal growth, sustainability, and refurbishment to enrich the work environment. Established new systems to improve the way staff are supported mentally while dealing with challenging humanitarian issues. Show less
