Supervision of an IGEM team
-
Jun 2021 - Oct 2022
Supervision of an iGem team for the year 2022. Team from the Lyon University: IGEM INSA Lyon I. The goal of the project is the development of a "FiatLUX" package including the bioluminescent conjugative plasmid (luxCDABE), hardware for the acquisition of in vivo images of infection in planta and eco-friendly software for analysis images. Roles: - participation in the genesis of the project and judging the feasibility - bibliographic watch - validation of the scientific approach of the students involved in the projects - promoting the project to companies (eg Bayer). The team was the most awarded during the grand final (6 prizes) and obtained a final ranking of 2nd out of 250 registered teams. TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE M2 INTERNSHIP PROJECT
-
Apr 2019 - May 2019
Subject: Study of transcriptional variability between two sister cells with the aim of measuring by scRNAseq (MARS-seq) - Gandrillon team, CNRS. - Familiarization with the technical skills of this project: cell culture (6C2 - avian erythrocyte progenitors, P2), fluorescence microscope observation, cell isolation by capillarity. - Presentation of results in English during team meetings. - Discovery of sequencing methods (IGFL Lyon) Due to a rather limited internship period, the topic could not be explored as a whole. In this lapse of time, my goal was rather to "design" different protocols for answers to the biological question. Skills: cell culture, keeping a laboratory notebook, epifluorescence microscopy, cell isolation by capillary action, bibliographic reading. Show less
