EECS 183 is a course that focuses on fundamental C++ concepts and skills. Compting CARES is a program dedicated to eliminating the historical gender disparity within computer science and computer engineering. • Facilitated office hours and a lab section for a course on fundamental C++ skills and concepts to aid students in their understanding of programming concepts • Led the Comprehensive Studies Program (CSP) lab section, which is meant to accommodate students who come from schools with less resources/funding as well as first-generation college students, and developed the section and learning materials during the 2021-2022, 2022-2023, and 2023-2024 academic years • Planned events in many EECS courses that encourages students from underrepresented backgrounds to find their place in the field of computer science or engineering through Computing CARES • Organized and facilitated inclusive teaching training sessions through Computing CARES to ensure Instructional Aides and Graduate Student Instructors are aware of and utilize best teaching practices Ignited various initiatives for the EECS 183 staff team as a member of the staff development team Show less
