Makala is an outstanding player in EYFS curriculum, who knows the exact requirement about the particular age group of students at its peak. Her skills in identifying the slow learners, gifted and talented students are an amazing experience of education. Story telling is Makala’s passion where students thoughts are broadened with the world of fantasy. Her cautious and vigilant approach towards child safety is outstanding. The precautionary measures placed in the EYFS department under Makala’s leadership during the covid 19 pandemic is a remarkable achievement, which build the confidence of parents to sending their child comfortably to school.

I have twice managed Makala as Head of EYFS in my role as principal. Firstly, in setting up the basics in a new school and then to improve provision in an established school. I have found Makala to be extremely knowledgable and systematic in her ability to improve the department. She is flexible in her approach to staff development also providing workshops for parents to ensure parental involvement.
