Following BG Group's International Graduate Development Program, I undertook several placements, gaining a wide range of engineering and operational experience. My first role based within the Head Office Production System Optimisation team, with a focus on Production Loss Management. Key responsibilities included: assuring and analysing loss submissions from Assets; reporting on losses; and engaging with key stakeholders in the centre. All with the aim of supporting the minimisation of production losses. I was responsible for managing production from a field of 100 wells, and regularly visiting the field to work with the well site operations team to troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities to maximise production.
