I have known and worked with Mairead over the last 6 years as she organized and built Family-to-Family's literacy programs. Mairead is dedicated, highly responsible and committed to any task large or small and has proven over time to be a motivated member of our Family-to-Family community. She has been a cherished employee and volunteer and would be a truly valuable addition to any work place.

Mairead took a fledgling literacy project that had very little formal structure and turned it into a large, well-run program with replicable protocols helping several hundred children in a dozen locations across the country. Her success was a result of her devotion to her work, her ability to think problems through and come up with creative solutions, and great follow-through. She has a good "big picture" mentality, and was terrific at managing both her volunteer staff and hundreds of donors. She addressed problems that arose with great care and thoroughness. We were very sorry to lose her!
