The Youth Development Project in Ukraine had three main goals. 1) Promotion of healthy lifestyles and life skills in youth from underserved communities. 2) Preparation and development of youth’s employability/professional skills. 3) Engagement of youth as active citizens. I met these goals through the support of Ukrainian community leaders, fellow Peace Corps Volunteers, and host families. The Peace Corps experience cannot be summed up in one paragraph and is like no other.
