I write about an insurance concept that few know about but creates value for both insurers, their digital partners, and, not least, the end-customers: Embedded insurance. Thus, my job is to convince European insurers that sales through digital partnerships pave the way for more relevant and personal insurance, higher sales, and unscaling business. I do this in the form of B2B content, such as: - Newsletters and emails. - LinkedIn - Blog articles. - Website. - Campaigns. As long as no one stops me, I write sentences like: “With this decision tree, we want to support you in taking your endeavour to the next level. You know, the level that’ll make Shania Twain say “Ka-Ching!”. And we hope that it’ll save you the €25(0),000 bill that the management consultancies will send you (and makes you sweat and/or cry like Niagara Falls).” And: "Maybe you’re thinking of selling insurance online. And maybe you’re afraid of the price consequences. Then be like Batman in The Dark Knight Rises when he has to do the deadly jump: Have no fear. Sell at the same price as your agents and as other distribution channels are selling. It creates clarity for the customer." In this job, I helped write and boost the story about an app aimed at retailers and other businesses who want to bridge the communication gap between HQ and their non-desk workers. I delivered English B2B content that engaged and educated managers and HR employees within internal communication. They got to know how a communication app could help them reach, engage, upskill, and connect their employees, for instance by reading my: - Blog articles. - SoMe (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram). - Email newsletters. - Customer cases. - Invitations for webinar and events. - Whitepaper. - Annual report. Since my boss was a HubSpot specialist, inbound marketing quickly took 'control' of my mindset and fingertips. I strengthened my experience with customising content for the buyer’s journey and therefore to turn the curious reader into a lead. For instance, from day 1, I was involved in big account-based marketing campaigns. Also, my boss quickly spotted my flair to put myself in the reader’s place and think one step ahead. So, since LinkedIn is the chance to make a good first impression on the B2B prospects and invite them to the website, I was in charge of Relesys’ SoMe presence. Show less

Som Content Coordinator hos Arp-Hansen Hotel Group var jeg en del af en koncern, hvis 'father figure' var dygtig med både murerske og malerpensel… og som derfor grundlagde en familieejet virksomhed, der samtænker håndværk, arkitektur, kunst og design med ’stedets ånd’. Jeg så det som min fornemste opgave at booste denne værdifortælling. Dén opgave lå på mine skuldre allerede fra første arbejdsdag. For jeg blev ansat, da Arp-Hansen Hotel Group stod i sidste udviklingsfase af nye websites og forsidetekster til otte hoteller. Fra start fik jeg derfor en spændende udfordring i at sætte fornyende, værdiskabende ord på hvert hotel og dets tone of voice. Jeg tog initiativet til detektiv-research, hotelrundture og samtaler med driftens ildsjæle. Dette opsøgende arbejde gav mig en masse data-guf, som jeg omsatte til læsning om hvert hotels særkender, ’historier i væggene’ og mindeværdige oplevelser. Det var en fordel for mig at dykke ned i fortællingen om hvert hotel fra start, da disse blev rettesnoren i mine daglige tekstleverancer til content marketing-aktiviteter, herunder: - B2C- og B2B-nyhedsbreve. - Website, såsom tekster til forsider og landingpages (både dansk og engelsk). - Annoncer. - Tryksager. Det var desuden tekstleverancer, som både koncernledelsen, hoteldirektører og chefer lagde mærke til… og løbende mødte mig med ros for i min mailindbakke og ved kaffemaskinen :-) Show less

Hér genoptog jeg det frugtbare samarbejde med Anja Klemp Vilgaard i yderligere tre måneder. Derfor fik jeg også muligheden for at fordybe mig endnu mere i skrivearbejdet og for at skærpe og forfine min pen med journalistiske virkemidler og strategisk storytelling. Strategiske budskaber og værdifortællinger for Get Ajours kunder blev en fast og lærerig del af min daglige ’to do’. Særligt i form af: - Kernefortællinger - Pressemeddelelser - Salgs- og brochuretekster - Testimonials og kundecases - Konceptudvikling af en arkitektonisk kogebog - Debatindlæg - Get Ajours månedlige nyhedsbrev... hvor jeg har delt ud af nyheder, viden og værktøjer om blandt andet B2B-historier, skrevne og visuelle fortællinger, Instagram og influencers. Jeg var også med til at facilitere workshops for mange forskellige kunder – lige fra boligselskaber og medicinalvirksomheder til erhvervspsykologer. Hér hjalp jeg dem med at få værdier og succeshistorier frem i lyset. Både for at give medarbejderne en stolthed at være fælles om og for at give dem et værktøj, der kan vaccinere mod fordomme og kedelige myter. Foruden var jeg med til at afvikle storycoachings for både topledere og sælgere, der havde brug for at brænde igennem med budskaber og historier, der inspirerer, engagerer, flytter adfærd... og får deres tilhørere til at lægge mobilen fra sig. Som tekstforfatter leverede jeg content om både tunge og lette emner - lige fra realkreditlån og "Kurs 100... a hva’ for noget?" til SU-venlige smagsoplevelser. Jeg fik hands-on-erfaring med mange forskellige onlinegenrer og ghostwriting, da mit tekstoutput var: - Nyheder og artikler. - Blogindlæg. - Guides. - Produkt- og servicebeskrivelser. Hos JH Media blev mine input lyttet til og efterspurgt, og jeg blev givet frie, kreative rammer til at skrive og komme på idéer til nyt content. I jobbet blev jeg klogere på min egen skrivestil og lærte at formidle fakta på en fængende måde. Mit udbytte? Særlig evne i at skrive let, billedligt og troværdigt, når det kommer til tungt og kompliceret stof. Nøgleordet hér var (ekstra) grundighed i research-fasen, både på emnet og målgruppen. Da jeg ofte sku’ beskrive samme emne ’fra A til Z’ for at gøre Google SEO-glad, fik jeg en spændende udfordring i – og solid erfaring med – at skrive varieret og kreativt. Show less

I en måned fik jeg muligheden for at komme under vingerne på Anja Klemp Vilgaard i hendes virksomhed, Get Ajour, hvor strategisk storytelling er kerneydelsen. Jeg blev en del af en inspirerende, travl og ikke mindst vanedannende hverdag, da jeg blev kastet ud i en masse spændende skriveopgaver. Samarbejdet var win-win for begge parter, hvorfor vi valgte at fortsætte, hvor vi slap, efter sommerferien. Dét kan du læse mere om ovenfor. Her trådte jeg, fra dag 1, ind i et travlt og spændende PR-hus, hvor jeg arbejdede med B2B- og turismekommunikation - og havde derfor en hverdag i krydsfeltet mellem turist- og rejsebureauer, journalister og eventyrlystne turister. Jeg har leveret både dansk og engelsk content om nyheder, rejser og oplevelser inden for turismebranchen, blandt andet solrige golfferier, safari, yoga under bananpalmer, afternoon tea i troperne – og endda gambisk wrestling. Det var særligt i form af: - Pressemeddelelser og salgspitcher. - Nyhedsbreve. - SoMe-content (Instagram og Facebook). Desuden har jeg arbejdet med medierapportering samt været med til at organisere og afvikle rejsemesser. Mit udbytte? Erfaring med at levere content og skabe relationer... og sikre at hver enkelt kunde føler sig som den vigtigste kunde. Blandt andet ved at skrive om Portugals farvemønstrede Azulejos-kakler og cremefyldte butterdejstærter, som havde jeg set og smagt dem selv. Ved at følge op på 50+ eventinvitationer med personlige opkald til rejseguider og journalister. Og ved at sørge for nyprintede navneskilte til, glædeligt overraskede, messedeltagere, der ved en fejl ikke stod på listen. Show less
