I had the pleasure of working with Maia when she was running the 'Teach and Learn With Georgia' program. She first contacted my company to recruit English teachers for this new program to introduce English into the school system in Georgia. She was prompt and professional with her communication. I then took a trip to Georgia to meet her and sign a contract with the Georgian government. During the trip I was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. Maia had a nearly impossible job - starting and running a program to introduce native English speaking teachers from all over the world into a foreign school system. She handled the entire process with grace, humor and efficiency. During the several years we worked with Maia, we placed hundreds of teachers in Georgia. Maia always made sure that problems were taken care of, questions were answered and situations resolved. I cannot imagine anyone doing a better job than Maia - she is also the hardest working person I have ever met. If I was going to war, I would want Maia on my side. I would recommend her for any position she applies for without hesitation - I have absolutely no doubt that she will be an incredible asset to any organization lucky enough to hire her. Feel free to contact me for further clarification - Ben Glickman - Footprints Recruiting Inc.

Few people have the opportunity to report to a manager who is also an inspiring coach and mentor — but I did when I worked for Maia. I had the pleasure of working with Maia Siprashvili-Lee for more than two years at the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. She held a position of the head of the Department for International Relations and Programs where I worked as a coordinator of educational projects. Maia always exhibited strong interpersonal skills and a unique capacity for empathy. These qualities most notably translate in her ability to motivate a team to care about its project and be fully invested in the project’s success. Above all, I was impressed with her devoted professionalism and supportiveness that made a dramatic difference in the productivity level of our team. Maia is the go-to person for conflict resolution and problem solving; when task-related conflicts aroused among team members she always stepped in to help the team find resolutions in order to ensure team’s unity and effectiveness. And, of course, her honesty and intelligence would be a true asset for any team.
