Joseph Scotchmer
I worked with Maia on the design team for Wizard of Oz: Magic Match and assisted with training her when she was initially hired at Zynga. When she was added to our team she quickly showed her talents as a designer by creating numerous fun and inventive levels for our game, while also designing new hazards for the game. More than just her skills as a designer, Maia also showed great drive and initiative while working on our project. She was always looking for ways to improve our game, and would regularly volunteer to take on new tasks. Unwilling to accept low quality experiences for our players, Maia would take the necessary steps to fix any issues she encountered without needing to be asked. Maia was a valued member of our team, a talented designer, and a great coworker. She will be a great asset for any design team lucky enough to have her.
