During the Summer of 2018 I was awarded a scholarship through the YMCA to take part in “Students on Ice”, a charitable organization that offers educational expeditions to the Polar Regions. I had the great privilege of visiting the High Arctic (Canada and Greenland) with a group of other students, activists, educators, scientists and government representatives. The objective was to learn more about Climate Change, Truth & Reconciliation, Ocean Literacy and the United Nations’ Sustainable… During the Summer of 2018 I was awarded a scholarship through the YMCA to take part in “Students on Ice”, a charitable organization that offers educational expeditions to the Polar Regions.
