Develop Guildhall School of Music & Drama's ability to evaluate socially engaged artistic and educational work, in-line with its commitment towards Knowledge Exchange, and it's strategic plan. Be responsible for building the organisation’s capacity and capabilities in evaluating work, with a focus on socially engaged work, and work undertaken with strategic partners. Develop an approach or set of approaches to enable GSMD to implement a consistent and sustainable process for evaluating key work. Support the School, and up-skill staff, to be clear about the aims, success criteria and impacts for projects and groups e.g. artists, participants, publics and communities. Implement strategies and systems to develop the School’s culture around evaluation, working with key staff to embed evaluation practice and processes into project design from the outset. Show less

Exploring the challenges and opportunities they present for cultural learning and the ways in which cultural learning projects (and the organisations who deliver them) can respond to and be shaped by these in order to improve accessibility, engagement and impact.-To support the work of Barbican Guildhall Creative Learning by carrying out core project evaluation activities - Work alongside Creative Learning team to compile and collate research findings into guiding principles for effective models of place-based partnership work in different contexts.- Deliver full research report as well as a more condensed, user-friendly format, for presentation at the symposium event following the end of the project.
