Generated an optimized portfolio using this approach for the 60 companies that make the TSX60 to maintain both the optimal balance between risk and portfolio efficiency and diversification. Solved the model for three cleaned data frames. Tested and validated the assumption for risk parity strategy.

Optimization Project: Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA)

This project studied performance and efficiency of 37 hospitals in Ontario regarding several performance indicators for a given fiscal year.Designed an Excel-based decision support system (DSS) to fairly compare all the hospitals. Analyzed which performance metrics are good discriminators of hospital efficiency. Developed a VBA script to dynamically create a list of hospitals that should be examined to learn potential improved practices. Outlined areas of improvement for each inefficient hospital.
