  The Vice President of the Innovation Club is a student-elected position that is responsible for assisting the President in the day-to-day operations of the club. The Vice President is also responsible for leading the club's initiatives and projects, and for representing the club to the Faculty of Law administration and the legal community. The Vice President of the Innovation Club must have a strong understanding of the club's mission and goals and must be able to work effectively with the President and other club members. The Vice President must also be able to think strategically and creatively and must be able to effectively communicate with both students and professionals.   Interns conduct research and draft pleadings for active litigation, assist in producing substantive manuals for legal advocates, attend briefings and track legislation. Will be given an array of subjects from which to develop newsletter and website articles (reporting/analyzing newly promulgated or pending legislation, presenting case notes, and reporting on litigation trends). Should have good research, writing, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated commitment to expanding and protecting health care access for low-income and underserved populations, public interest, public health and/or poverty law is preferred.
