As an MA analyst, my job includes industry research, preparing financial models, pitchbooks, and some legal documents like Investment Banking advisory agreements, LOI, and so on. I have contributed to many projects, notable of which are minority investment of an EP holding in one Asset Management firm, various valuation projects with clients in both buy and sell-side considering their legal issues, pitching two potential clients, and bringing one client to the firm which was a major general contractor. I joined Kardan to be in the exposure to a wide variety of businesses and get involved in clients’ core businesses. My main achievements in this position are getting confidence in my financial modeling skills, understanding the operation, strategy, and finance in different industries like Telecom, Petrochemical, Steel, and Investment, and applying my analytical skills in multiple businesses. My job in IDEHHUB as a member of the consulting team was conducting due diligence projects assisting with pitch book and business plans, and monitoring/reporting/consulting portfolio companies, Business valuation, market research, and financial modeling. Most of our clients were from the startups ecosystem, who needs solutions such as fundraising and strategic planning in many of their life cycles like scale-up, MA. Research and analysis were the main aspects of my daily job. Finding and projecting macroeconomics’ variables, extracting customer behavior from sales data, or choosing suitable nominees for benchmarking a business’s multiples were examples of my daily tasks.
