Mahim has a nautical background but has done a variety of senior management studies that makes him rather unique among his contemporaries. He has a very good understanding of the Australia / New Zealand ports & shipping scene, both operationally as well as commercially. During the time that I reported to him , I found him to be a very good Manager that led the Oceania Operations team through some periods of extreme change while doing all he could to keep morale up.
