  As a Senior Design Drafter, I am mainly responsible for creating detailed designs, workshop drawings and 3D models with computer-aided design software such as Tekla, Advance Steel and SolidWorks. Apart from calculating dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in materials, I am tasked with creating workshop drawings, and NC and DXF files for machining operations. In addition, I review rough sketches in order to identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality. Furthermore, I am responsible for supervising and coordinating the operations of a team of three drafters. In order to receive instructions and gather product and structural requirements, I liaise with clients, architects and engineers. Moreover, I have to ensure that final designs comply with regulations and quality standards, but also to create manuals that describe existing products’ operation, features and maintenance.Key Achievements• Effectively delivered over 150 transportable switchrooms.• Successfully completed more than 100 residential and commercial projects, as well as over 30 mechanical projects.
