  The Jr Engineer is responsible for the support in development and execution of production programs & RFQs. I support Product Management, Project Management, New Business Development & will report to Team Lead – Advanced product & Innovation Major Responsibilities: Engineering Support • Design Automotive Ambient Lighting Products in 3D Experience Catia from given A-Surface to complete functional Lamps with required feasibility studies – like Lighting Effect, Packaging Study, Mounting Scheme, Customer Requirements, Regulatory requirements etc. • 2D drawings preparation considering Datums & GD&T • Electronics packaging in 3D CAD with customer requirement for Lighting Effect • Co-ordinate with other development teams like Optics, Electronics & CAE. • Understand the Customer’s work requirement and project deliverables (Project time estimation, quality and commit delivery dates). • Participating in Design Reviews with Cross Functional Teams & Manufacturing Team. • Meeting the quality Procedure/Standards for CAD Design of Components (assembly & part Level). • Maintaining the Time records, data Management in Enovia PLM & project Details. • Design Products / Components to meet Tool Design requirements. Check DFM & work with toolmaker, should have good Knowledge of Plastic Mold design Requirements.
