PETROLIDA is an annual event organized by SPE ITS SC that aims to connect and advance the technical and professional competence of a global community of energy professionals while working towards a safe, secure, and sustainable energy future. The event comprises international events and competitions that allow students to innovate and create solutions to energy issues, showcase their potential, and foster cooperative relations with stakeholders and industry professionals.This year, the theme of the event is "Igniting Sustainable and Flawless Notion to Embrace The Energy Security", with the objective of promoting sustainable energy practices and addressing the challenges faced by the industry. PETROLIDA 2023 is collaborating with esteemed organizations such as: Grab, Pertamina EP Zona 11, Asset 4, and the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center, who provided valuable support in terms of cases and judges.Case Study Competition - Pertamina EPFracturing Fluid Design Competition - Pertamina EPPaper Competition - Purnomo Yusgiantoro CenterBusiness Case Competition - Grab SurabayaThis event witnessed a significant increase of 102% in participation from last year, with a total of 769 registrants and 18 professional judges. PETROLIDA enhanced the technical competence of the delegates, which would help in advancing the energy industry. The event also included Petroshow Vol. 1, a talk show featuring experts discussing the local creative industry, providing members with the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals and potentially lead to new opportunities.PETROLIDA 2023 also held a fundraising activity called SPEND (SPE Donation Day) to help children suffering from cancer at Yayasan Peduli Kanker Anak Indonesia (YPKAI).
