Probably the most dynamic job I've ever had. I have spent 14 years helping my community develop a tourism plan, where I helped create fun and innovative marketing programs; written more than 20 (all successful) grant applications for tourism marketing; been a key member of 3 different marketing consortiums; and been recognized by my peers within and without, as a leader to be trusted and respected. But most importantly who is passionate about her job and her community. Find It In Farmville! Probably the most dynamic job I've ever had. Responsible for a small collection agency's overall performance while the owner was attending conferences and meetings seeking more diverse accounts. Additionally, the needs of the technology systems as they applied to the collectors on staff fell under my purview. Collective dialer and telephone and computer systems were all upgraded and installed under me - and then we were able to hire an IT professional who happily took these "toys" off my plate! Responsible for then, standard marketing efforts (print media and radio spots) to bring business to this small company; however, as networking opportunities presented themselves, I geared the company in that direction. Business Networking International; Manufacturer's Association and other organizations were brought to the attention of the owners of Infopac and presentations made which garnered business opportunities this small company had never had before. Responsible for 4 AMOCO convenience locations (back when it was American Oil Company, instead of the now British Petroleum that you see) with $100 million in revenues annually and $250 million in inventory and accounts receivable. These locations were all 24/7/365. During my tenure there, and through restructuring, there were no more local store managers - the Market Managers managed their market and each individual store location. Challenging, to say the least.....
