Bio
Paul Barretta, Ph.D.
I had the wonderful fortune of having Maggie in multiple classes during her undergraduate education at St. Bonaventure University. Maggie was among the communications students who understood power of combining communications and marketing. Her passion for communications showed in class and now in her professional life. As a student, there were clear signs of her future success; as a working professional it is wonderful to see that those signs have blossomed into skills. But there is much more to Maggie than just the quality of her work. There is her personality. Maggie's good nature, pleasant demeanor, and ability to simultaneously remain professional and personable puts those around her instantly at ease. This is a wonderful quality to have.

As Director of Social Media for the Rhinos in 2015, I was one of Maggie’s supervisors during her time with the team in their USL Championship year of 2015. Maggie was a very hard and enthusiastic worker, spending many hours creating, editing, distributing and managing content across all of the Rhinos’ social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. She also extended her skills by being on camera performing interviews with Rhinos players that not only were part of the Rhinos YouTube channel, but were also played at the stadium at halftime of Rhinos matches. In addition, Maggie was a key resource on match days, working both in the press box and on the field creating social media on multiple platforms and accurately performing important tasks for the team and the league. Finally, what impressed me most about Maggie was her positive, can do attitude, always going the extra mile to assist the front office and the team staff in whatever way they needed and for however many hours, which was especially important in 2015 when the Rhinos were not only being followed closely by Rochester area supporters, but soccer fans from all across the US. It was a pleasure working with Maggie and I would highly recommend her!
