  Previous to working as a Community Engagement Officer, I was proud to work on the Oxford Brookes University 150th Anniversary project (2015). My duties included event management, coordinating the planning, design and implementation of anniverary merchandise, product launches, communications, marketing and merchandise sales on and off-line. I organised John Henry Brookes book talks in the local community, wrote copy and articles for internal newsletters and managed merchandise stands and sales incentives. Before this role I worked in Oxford Brookes International. Previously, I worked in the private sector having various marketing and communications at Chiron Pharmaceuticals, Research Machines plc and the Royal Mail Strategic Marketing Headquarters (Oxford).
