To whom it may concern: I am writing to strongly recommend the candidacy of Jing You for a position in the field of Accounting. I have had the opportunity to work with Jing from January 2010 – May 2011 at the Ballotti Learning Center, Suffolk University. As one of our student leaders, I have been privy to her interactions with students both in her capacity as an employee and as a student at our University. Jing has shown herself to be an exemplary tutor in her time at the Learning Center, helping students to gain mastery of challenging subjects such as Graduate level Accounting whilst at the same time reinforcing excellent study habits & promoting independence in learning. In this role, I have witnessed not only her resourcefulness in being able to quickly grasp and address students’ academic needs, but also her superior communication skills in relating information & engaging students to actively participate in her group & individual tutoring. As an international student, Jing’s diversity has been a welcome addition to my team of tutors. Jing has a professional yet disarming demeanor which has endeared her to our students, fellow employees & professional staff. Having excelled in our team-based projects & training initiatives, Jing has been a role model for other tutors not only through the quality her work but also through her enthusiasm for assisting others with their academics. Further, I have known Jing to be dedicated to her studies. He strikes me as a young lady that has taken her education seriously and is passionate about using her real world & classroom experiences to build a solid future as an accountant. I think her pleasant personality, excellent work ethic, ability to multitask & acumen for accounting would make her an invaluable asset to your organization. It is without reservation and with the highest regard for her professional skills & personal qualities that I recommend Jing You to a position in the field of accounting. Sincerely, Timothy Brown, M.Ed. Assistant Director - Ballotti Learning Center Suffolk University
