Maggie is totally on top of her job. She has whipped her program into shape since she's been at Fred Finch and put the fear of God into her clinicians. She is sharp and funny and great to work with, and nobody worries about it when Maggie's in charge because she can handle anything. :)

Maggie is detail-oriented and very committed to her work. I supervised Maggie in her roles as Resident Advisor and Peer Conduct Board Coordinator, and was always pleased with the level of commitment, responsibility and care for those in her charge that she brought to each position. I believe Maggie will prove to be an excellent resource in any role and would happily hire her in the future.

Working in San Mateo County's Behavioral Health and Recovery Services, Office of Diversity and Equity I coordinate The Parent Project, which is a 12-week parenting class designed to adolescents who display difficult or out of control behavior. This office works to reduce and eliminate health disparities and stigma. I assisted in coordination efforts of our newly launched, Health Ambassador Program. This program empowers our community members to take classes sponsored by our department spanning from The Parent Project, to digital storytelling, to Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training. Additionally, I am instructor for Youth Mental Health First Aid, which is an 8-hour training course that teaches skills for providing initial help to young people experiencing mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, psychosis, and substance use disorders.
