I was part of a team that reworked Lyngsoes embedded RFID platform from the ground up. The goal was to design and implement a RFID reader portal that is modular and thereby extensible, easily deployed and maintained. It worked as a IoT Edge device and delivered telematics over LWM2M to our backend. I worked closely with our hardware engineers during product development and production. I previously worked with country wide postal logistics using RFID as tracking technology. This involves working with large data sets and extracting valued statistics for process optimization and cost savings. Show less

At my brief stay at BAE I was employed as a C++ and python developer and worked with data capture in high bandwidth networks. My short stay wasn't caused by dissatisfaction but I was contacted and offered another very interesting position that I had a hard time turning down. My work revolved around finding better algorithms for generating trajectories for human-like walking. That is, increase the energy efficiency of the gait to approach the efficiency of the human gait. The goal was to develop a better model of human locomotion and design controllers that could be placed in an artificial ankle that could restore the gait of below knee amputees. This required mathematical modelling, design of embedded software, and mechatronic design for various parts of a humanoid robot. Show less

At several occasions during this period I was hired as a consultant for Kuben Byg A/S where I implemented a self-developed system for administrating the internet connections for apartments in newly constructed dorms. The system was divided in two parts; a backend which configured iptables to allow computers access to the internet based on rules stored in a MySQL database. Computers were identified by their MAC address and the apartment they were in was identified by integration with onsite Cisco switches through SNMP. A frontend let apartments grant access to computers and a special site for the administrator granted access on a per apartment basis. Show less

I mostly worked with multi-threaded socket programming in C/C++. The goal was to develop a library that could serve data to multiple clients without any dependence on the data served. Next to my studies, I worked as a salesman where I sold computer hardware. At times I also worked as a technician in the company's workshop and developed small modules for the company web site.
