We speak, seek and spread the truth about tobacco through education, tobacco-control research, policy studies, and community activism and engagement. As a Youth Activism Fellow in the third rendition of the program, I was provided a $1,500 grant to implement a tobacco control project in the Lexington, KY community as well as opportunities to engage in several speaking events targeting 18-24 year old olds in order to educate youths in issues surrounding tobacco prevention.
