I also call new agents to discuss the many opportunities, including marketing, that they have available to them as a GBL-affiliated agent. As the Marketing Consultant I am also in charge of our most successful marketing program - the Turning-65 Direct Mail Program.

Public Affairs Intern

May 2015 - Aug 2015
I spent 11 weeks working as the Public Affairs Intern at the Omaha Branch of The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. During my internship, I was able to work with both the Community Affairs Department and the Public Affairs Department. Some of my projects at the bank included conducting media research; creating content for Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn accounts; updating and reorganizing media contact information; creating the framework for an inner-district campaign supporting the redesign of the ten dollar bill; and writing web stories. I also virtually worked on a group project with the other PA interns from Kansas City and the Denver and Oklahoma City branches. Together we came up with ways in which the bank could better reach new and less experienced teachers with the free economic education resources it provides. Show less
