Margaret M. Quinlan, Ph.D.

Madison Gruca is one of the hardest working and talented research and teaching assistants I have worked with. We worked together on multiple projects for over a year. She is smart, enthusiastic, eager to learn, professional, mature and is always ready to take on new challenging responsibilities. She is a leader with a strong character, communicates well and is a rare mix of productivity and ambition. She does not require a lot of direction or supervision. She can manage multiple projects better than anyone I have worked with before which made our research team very productive. Any employer would be lucky to have Madison on their team!

Daily responsibilities included customer service, handling cash and card transactions, ensuring customer orders were accurate and timely, and handling customer complaints effectively. This position was held while I was still a full-time student but still managed working long hours and holidays showing my commitment to the position. Working in the food industry also taught me Serve Safe technique, proper food handling, cleaning and how to prioritize to function in a fast-paced environment.
