      Position Overview Responsible for effective day to day crew operation, planning, placement of seafarers onboard managed vessels. Ensures crew changes are planned at economical and convenient ports, compliance in CMS with regards to crew certification, training and documentation. Monitoring compliance of seafarers for respective vessels w.r.t certification and training. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities * Compliance with vessel related statutory, regulatory, Wallem, Union and Client’s requirements. * Responsible for compliance with operational responsibilities in Crew Management Software. * Responsible for compliance with Oil Major Matrices (Q88 & OCIMF SIRE) on Tanker Fleet. * Ensure a complete understanding of crewing and company KPI’s and compliance with the same. * Communication with seafarers and their families. * Ensure error free pre-joining documents handed over to seafarer and briefing completed. * Responsible for on time relief, timely placement of crew onboard. * For Tanker Fleet – To update OCIMF-SIRE using CMS/ Q88 software. * Responsible for maintaining Minimum Safe Manning Certificate (MSMC)/ P&I club certificate for vessels in respective fleet. * Utilizing knowledge of ship, owner and trade specific requirements to improve crew planning, selection, retention. * Align crew skills and specific vessel needs while placement of seafarers. * Liaise through efficient and close loop communication with all stakeholders * Provide cooperation and take initiatives to see through business results. * Assisting with Garrets Provisions management. * Approving Extra Meals invoices in Eye share. * Assisting in Bond supervision. * Assisting with HRA Bonus approval. * Assisting with day-to-day MLC related queries and ship correspondence. * Month end reports analysis. * Assisting with Additional Man-power request Analysis and approval. * Assisting with Compas / Bassnet WRH module testing. * Assisting with Wellness on-board campaign/various other campaigns.
