  Prior to Naandi, I was a Senior Research Assistant at the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) and was part of the team of researchers evaluating Indira Gandhi Matritva Sahyog Yojana (IGMSY) and the Rajiv Gandhi Scheme for Employment of Adolescent Girls (RGSEAG-Sabla), two key Ministry of Women and Child Welfare projects. I was also part of the M&E team monitoring and evaluating the performance of an NGO in Western India supporting a state government in implementation of a gender empowerment scheme for girls. This apart I investigated gender sensitivity in various Government Departments' Result Framework Documents and was part of the team developing questionnaire for a research on single women in collaboration with UN Women.   1. Developed a year-long English support for 10th class students of Andhra Pradesh Board and designing workbooks for EAC students of Primary and High School. 2. Coordinated Ignis Special English Coaching for 10th Class students - (Jan- Feb 2013) This was a pilot project that covered 120 students of 10th class in two state syllabus schools, one at Sanga Reddy and another at Gajwel. The objective was to develop and test an intensive English Coaching Curriculum for the SSC 10th class students of Andhra Pradesh. The project was appreciated by students and school managements alike and is being scaled up. 3. Coordinated and Trained mentors of Ujjwala - Phase II ( Oct 2012 - Jan 2013) - A gender and English skills programme for selected Nanhi Kalis of Naandi Foundation. The project has been a success in Hyderabad and is soon to be extended to centres in other states. 4. Trained teachers and implemented the Ignis EAC Programme for Primary Section at 6 Affordable Private Schools in Hyderabad. 5.Impact Assessment of the Ujjwala Summer Camp- A gender empowerment summer camp being funded by Naandi Foundation, Hyderabad (May- July 2012) for selected Nanhi Kalis of Naandi Foundation. This study formed the basis of a Research Paper that I co-authored with Rennis Joseph and Immaculate Mary, founders of Ignis Careers. The paper was presented at 4th International Conference on Life Skills Education held at Navi Mumbai (7th- 9th Dec 2012) and has been published by Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development.
